Orientation

All adult members of a household who are 18 or older must attend an orientation together to receive an application.

  • We are currently building our waiting list. At this time, no units are available.
  • Pre-registration is mandatory.
  • Doors will open at 7:15 pm to admit pre-registered attendees only and will close at  7:30 for the start of the presentation.
  • Please note that no one will be admitted after 7:30 p.m., even if pre-registered.
  • Attendees of the Orientation sessions are to select two different committees and two jobs they could volunteer for once they become members; they will discuss their choices during the interactive presentation.

Please, no children under the age of 18.

Next Orientation Sessions

  • October 14, 2025 (Pre-registration is now full)

Attending orientation is compulsory. This session will give you the information you need to make an informed decision about becoming a member.

The Differences Between Rental Communities and Non-Profit Co-ops

Take a few minutes to review this resource to understand the differences between non-profit co-ops and traditional rental communities: Rental vs. Co-op Information (PDF).

We’ll be asking a few questions about it during your orientation session, so please review it in advance.

Notes

This is not emergency or subsidized housing.

Members of your household who are 18 years of age or older are required to attend our Orientation sessions.

Please note, however, that young children should not accompany their parents/guardians to the Orientation Session. Please make alternative babysitting arrangements for the duration of the session, which usually lasts about one to one and a half hours. We make this our policy so that all attendees can focus their full attention on the presentation so that they can get all the information they need and make an informed decision as to whether or not they should apply as members.

Applicants must pass credit and other checks and be able to pay the full housing charges if accepted as a Member.

The cost of the credit check is now $25 for each applicant.
